Cedar Creek Taxidermy
About Us

We are located in northeast Nebraska, 45 miles south of the Missouri River. I used to practacly live up there when I was a kid, surrounded by wildlife constantly.

I've enjoyed my new venture in the business a lot. Meeting new people and taxidermists. I've been doing customer work now for 7 years and with not a lot of time to fill up my own show room but that is rapidly approaching. Soon starting construction on a new shop. I take a lot of pride in my work and know how every animal is supposed to look in the wild, thats what I base my work on.

I look forward to giving new customers a trophy that lasts a lifetime and a definite reason for repeat business. I do like honesty and a customer is sometime shy on the fact that they dont like something so if a customer is ever unhappy about anything I will discuss it with them and make a change if it can be done. Make sure you know how you want your trophy possed or the habitat to be displayed. Pictures are good to go by and note the place in your house that it's going to be and which way you want it facing.

On deer and other big game head mounts, leave 10 to 12 inches of brisket usually behind the front legs in a straight line around the animal is enough. Do not hang the animal by the neck or upside down, reason blood goes to head and if its a little warm causes bacteria. Don't drag across rough ground, rocks and concrete it cuts the hair and rub spots. Tell your locker you need it caped out to mount they should know the rest. Place in a light colord trash bag or a plastic sack. Or get to your taxidermist ASAP.
